Department Purpose:
This volunteer program is designed to be the welcoming arm
of the Chamber including welcoming and mentoring new
members, promotion of member businesses, fostering
membership growth, and to support Chamber programs, projects
and events.
Department Objective:
- Perform an annual membership survey to identify needs and
concerns
- Collaborate with Chamber Staff to schedule Business
Blenders and secure restaurant participants and
entertainment
- Encourage general membership to utilize email, fax, and
newsletter insert opportunities
- Visit businesses new to the community and extend an
invitation to join the chamber
- Attend Ribbon Cuttings, Grand Openings, Business Blenders,
Ground Breakings, etc.
- Assist in obtaining door prizes for Business Blenders
- Develop a plan to increase and retain membership
- Promote member-to-member participation among the general
membership
